Where can I find free metal?

You can advertise for free metal on Craig's List or something similar. It's very hard to find since scrap prices are high. Ask at construction sites for scraps.

You could ask your friends or neighbors to donate empty soda cans to you, or if you're doing this for a school-related art project, check to see if the art studio has any. Once you get a hold of some, use heavy-duty scissors to cut it.

well i would start out in a junk yard an i think you should find a lot there and if that dont work out. find someone who has an old barn an tell them what you need and they might be able to help you. go behind a store that close and see if they left anything
