There are many online sites that provide a guide for baby and toddler sign language. Most of which teach you the sign by video clips. Most municipal pulic library systems have books available to check out that range in level from signs for babies to college level books. All major book stores would also have these books.

You can actually make up your own signs to communicate things that will be most useful for your baby. Usually you can teach your baby signs for more, food, tired, milk, etc. Really, you can teach your baby anything you can think of. Just say the words and do the motion at the same time consistently.
