You could go to a local park or a beach. Take a scenic drive to nearby attractions. Meet at a diner or coffee shop. Dave and Busters is a fun place to go also. Maybe a museum or art gallery.

The classic first date is restaurant and movie or restaurant and concert. A more creative choice might be that you find out what the other person likes and do something along those lines. That communicates your desire to be unselfish.

Go anywhere, but make sure it is somewhere you can hear each other talk, so you can actually learn more about each other.

you could always do a standard dinner and a movie date. or you could go for something more unconventional, such as ice skating, roller skating, bowling, pool. if shes an outdoorsy girl try a light hiking trail with some nice waterfalls.
