When will my molly have her babies?

You will know, she will get REALLY REALLY big, I believe it's about a week? Also if there are any other fish in the tank, they may eat some of the babies. Once she starts getting really big, I would put her in a separate birthing tank if you want the (10-50) babies to live.

ass the "miracle of birth" implies only when conditions are optimal. ph, temperature, overall health, and a nest area being some the biggest concerns. Moat breeds prefer to lay eggs on a flat rock at a slight angle

If the tank is kept in good condition, her gestation period will be approximately one month long. She may have between two to sixty fry in one birthing...try to make sure she doesn't eat them and try to raise the babies in a separate tank as soon as possible after birth if possible.
