Children get their first molars between the ages of 11 months and 15 months, they are considered the one year molars. With the second set not coming till the age of two. Expect a slight fever, drooling and pain when they come in. You can alleviate the pain with Baby Orajel.

I believe that they get them around two years old. Be prepared because in my experience the teething is much worse with molars than with the front teeth. We has vommiting and fever when our fist child was getting his molars. He also has liquidy stool and diaper rash. So plan to have the appropriate items on hand.

The first molars (maxillary and mandibular)come out usually at around one year of age for babies. Delayed eruption may be normal but if the molars are not out by 18 months a doctors visit may be needed. The second molars usually come out by 2 years of age.
