Moving during the holidays (Mid November through the first week in January) is generally cheapest. Most people don't want to move at this time of year because they are busy traveling or hosting people, and generally the weather is not as good. You will likely be able to find good deals on moving services during this time period.

After moving many times myself and later working with a moving company, I found that it's best to move during the off-peak season. Peak season is during the summer months or December and January. Therefore, move off-peak in the fall (September or October).

The cheapest time woudl be between Thanksgiving and Christmas because nobody wants to move then. But don't wait until achool i sout for the Christmas holidays because it will pick back up a little then.
