When do you use nail polish remover with acetone in it?

You can buy both kinds, with or without acetone.

You use nail polish remover with acetone in it when you are trying to get rid of acrylic nails (by soaking). You can also use it when you have used nail glue to attach gems or sparkles to your nails. Acetone is harsher on your nails than most removers so use it only when you need to.

You can use the kind with acetone in it unless you have an allergy or acrylic nails. The acetone wears away at the acrylic in the nail which makes them weak so they will break easily.

Acetone is a strong chemical that can be included or not included in nail polish remover. Most people use nail polish remover with acetone to remove professional artificial nails. Professional artificial nails can not be removed without it unless the person goes through a lot of pain which is not needed.

Acetone is a much stronger chemical used to remove acrylic nails and stronger bonding nail polishes used by nail salons.

Generally you can use either, but if you have fake nails you want to use acetone free nail polish remover. If you don't have fake nails either will work.

I use nail polish remover with acetone in it when removing acrylic nails or gems placed on the finger nail by a beautician.
