Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida opened on April 22, 1998 and is located in the Walt Disney World Resort. It is the largest single Disney themed park in the world (covers over 500 acres).It is Disney's first theme park for animal conservation- which was an important philosophy of Walt Disney's.
