Security has improved, from increasing levels of encryption to digital signatures to PKI to verisign confirmations of website security. However, hackers are racing to cheat these security measures.

Security for E-commerce is great if you visit the right sites. Always use reputable organizations and make sure that when entering in data that the web page your on has a "HTTPS" Prefix.
