The Megalodon was much bigger than she Great Whie shark. The Megalodon could grow up to 75 feet long and weigh many tons while the Great white shark has only been known to grow up to 20 feet long and weigh up to a couple thousand kilograms. Because of the size the Megaladon would have had much thicker fins.
