What's the best material to use for garden fencing?

I used range fencing for my garden and lined the bottom with chicken wire to keep out the rabbits and other small critters.

The best material you could use is wood and make a pickett fence. If you put Thompson's Water seal on it, it will protect it from the rain that you get. Chain link will deffinately rust out in time but it will look nice at first. I hope this helps you and good luck with your fence.
