Most over the counter head lice shampoos contain the same active ingredients, and get a lot of benefit from the tiny combs included in the package.

RID, by far. I got lice in college from a "sleepover" sorority event, along with just about every other person there. Every girl who used RID was lice-free within a few days. The couple of girls who bought other brands had to do additional applications and spent more money.

I think that Rid is the best. My daughter has really long hair and all her lice were gone in no time with this product.

The best head lice shampoo would be either Nix or Rid because the off brands do not work very well.
