There are alot of biographies out there, my favorite is Some Sort of Epic Grandeur: The Life of F. Scott Fitzgerald by Matthew Bruccoli. Large scope and rich detail.

Check out Some Sort of Epic Grandeur: The Life of F. Scott Fitzgerald by Matthew Bruccoli(2002) AND F. Scott Fitzgerald: A Biography by Edward Rielly(2005). There are a couple of auto bios that Bruccoli worked on with Scott, Zelda and Scottie. You have to decide which one is "best."
