The green label whiskey is make from four malts that are at least 15 years-old. Of the available Johnny Walker label, green is the only vatted whiskey. Vatting is process of marrying whiskeys to provide a constant taste. Usually vatted whiskey is is considered lower quality then blended whiskeys but the medium-full taste of green label makes it distinctive.

The green label of Johnny Walker means that it is a vatted malt that only contains single malt scotch. This is different from the other colored labels.

Well green label is another version of the previous "pure malt" whiskey. It a vatted malt meaning that it a mix of several different malts. In total about 15 individual single malts including Talisker, Cragganmore, Linkwood, and Caol Ila. It's aged a total of 15 years and is around 86 proof.
