What would cause the arch of my foot to itch all the time?

It's driving me crazy.

This may be caused by a fungus. Although athlete's foot generally occurs around the toes, it may happen on any part of the foot. An over-the-counter anti-fungal lotion may help, as may a soak with epsom salts. If the itching persists, see your doctor.

Itchy feet are no fun, and could be the result of several things. Athletes foot is a fungal infection that can make feet itch. Dry skin, particularly during winter months, can make them itch. If you've switched to new socks, the thread or detergent might be irritating you.
