Nobody can know for sure, but just a guess, you might want to get checked for arthritis or rheumatic disease. Pain can be caused not only by injury but also by inflammatory diseases, so you have to rule them out. If pain persists visit an orthopedics specialist.

This is most often a shoe fit issue. Make sure your shoes have good this soles and are not too tight. You may need to have the fits assessed. Also, there could be plantar fasciitis or a Morton's neuroma.

Such symptoms could be the result of wearing high heels frequently. You might also be wearing a shoe that is too small, too short, or not wide enough. In addition, it is possible that you have a plantar wart or plantar fasciitis, or even corns on the balls of your feet.

It is possible that you have been doing a lot of standing, walking, or running without break and have strained your feet. It is also possible you are doing these activities without wearing proper arch support. A chiropractor or a physical therapist might be able to help with this problem.

The way feet are designed, they are made to take impact. When we walk, our feet act as balance beams and divide our weight between the both of them. The pain in the ball of your feet could come from improper balance and too much pressure in one spot. Fix this by sitting down more to lighten the weight.

Eating too much meat than vegetables can cause pain in toes and the balls of your feet as well. Some people claimed that pain in the feet are most likely due to gout or injury but eating too much meat can cause acidic reactions, thereby causing pain in toes and feet. Try eating more vegetables to reduce the pain.

If you stand alot or have recently changed jobs or routines then this could be the cause for why you are getting pain. If there havent been changes then it could just be that you are stressed and need a massage.
