Grey stool means the he has a large amount of bile in his system. It is usually caused by malabsorption but can also be caused by an inflamed liver, gall bladder, or pancreas. The best thing you can do for it is remove fatty foods, fried food, dairy, and raw fruits and veggies from his diet for a while.

First, check to make sure nothing has changed with anything he or she has eaten. If any tiny thing has changed then switch back to what you were using prior to this issue. If that does not help, contact your pediatritian to make sure the problem is not more serious requiring medical intervention.
