There are some infections that can cause a rash on the palms of your hands. One famous for doing this is herpes simplex virus but other viruses can do this as well. The rash caused by this common virus looks like a target with an area of red surrounded by an area of clearing.

A rash can be caused by allergic reactions to detergent, hand soap, bleach, or just about anything. Prickly heat could be the culprit, and sweating of the palms can be miserable. Try washing your hands with a mild soap and keep them dry with talcum powder; or use calamine lotion.

It sounds like to have been using something that your body is reacting to. You may want to look and see if you have been using a new type of tool with a different sealant on or you may be close to a chemical substance that is on a work surface. Wear gloves and see if that helps
