Some of the most popular toys from the 1970's are the Atari, Uno, Rubik's Cube, SIMON, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Connect Four, Star Wars action figures, and the Magna Doodle.
One popular toy from the 70's was the Inchworm Ride on Toy, which was a 3 ft. long toy that looked like a yellow and green inch worm and young children could ride on it. It made a clacking noise when the wheels went around. One safety feature was that it could not go backwards.
Being born in 1970, we loved electronic football, rock 'em sock 'em robots, and bean bag tic tac toe. Playing these games on an old phonograph will help with a throw back party. Music from some '70's sitcoms such as Welcome Back Kotter are fun too.
