God actually made seven promises to Abraham, all of which can be found at Genesis 12:1-7. The three main promises God made to Abraham were that (1) He would form a great nation from Abraham's descendants; (2) He would give land to this nation; and (3) He would bless all families of the earth through Abraham.

God was going to give him the promise land, the second, God would give him son, the third his desidents would be as many as the sands of the earth.

God promised Abraham land for him and his family. He promised a great nation for all. He also promised that everyone in Abraham's family and all over the world would be blessed.
