What was the beginning of man?

God. God made the first man, Adam, from the dust of the earth. God breathed into Adam's nostrils and gave Adam life. Man did not exist prior to the day of the Biblical account of man's beginning. Man was made whole and complete all at once. Every cell and organ was fashioned by God's wisdom and love.

There are all kinds of scientific answers to this question but the best answer is in the Bible. It says that God created man from the dust and when no suitable helper was found for man, God made the man sleep and took a rib and from that rib He made woman.
