Looking back at the 80s, you can see that this has been the decade of pop music. There have been artists,who dominated the charts all over the world for many years. Among them are Madonna and Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Wham! , Depeche Mode and the Norwegian band a-ha.

Anything by Culture Club, like I'll Tumble For Ya, Karma Chameleon. Michael Jackson's Thriller album came out in the early 80's and there were a bunch of big hits on that album. The Police, the Pretenders, the Tubes, and the B-52's were popular bands.
