What was beatnik fashion like?

Beatnik fashion was considered to be worn as if you were trying not to get noticed since you werre supposed to be noticed for your mind and not your style. think lots of dark colors, turtle necks, barrets, and kackis. Also, since the beatnik trend was started in New York the clothing was primarily long sleeve due to weather.

It was an old and smelly one. Kind of like an old boot except they did not wear boots, they wore toe showing things. There are indeed are still some beatniks but they are listed under "endangered species".
