What types of plants do best in hanging gardens or baskets?

Any type of trailing plant will do well in a hanging basket. This can include houseplants, such as spider plants, pothos, ivy, or Christmas cactus. Outdoors, bacopa, ivies, climbing nasturtiums or begonias can be good choices.

I would use any type of plant that interest me. A plant that is well cared for is always the one that does the best. I like to use cactus, as they have high tolerance to neglect.

Hanging plants can increased the beauty of well furnished rooms or bare walls, and soften corners. Some hanging plants are- Golden Pothos (Scindapsus aureus)- gorgeous heart shaped. It prefer bright indirect light. Swedish Ivy (Plectrantus australis)- fast growing plants with glossy green leaves and square stems. Purple Passion Vine (Gynura sarmentosa- fuzzy purple leaves etc.
