A SAE 30 Non-Detergent motor oil should be used when you replace the oil in most Briggs and Stratton or other lawnmower engines

This is a simple process. First remove the small plug to drain the oil. Place a funnel under the plug to direct the old oil into a container. Then replace the plug and fill it with small engine oil available from the local home improvement or lawn care store.
