Make it colorful but soothing, with lots of yellow and blue. Put up animal prints. Make sure the room isn't crowded so you can find things easily.

One tip - be sure to purchase cribs that are versatile enough to change from crib to toddler bed to single bed. Second, if you are hanging border, don't hang at chair-rail or mid-wall height. The babies will stand in their cribs and peel off the border!

Keep the colors soothing and take care not to make the decor too busy. Older babies have trouble sleeping when the room is stimulating. Get a glider for you.
