What things do I need to take away to college?

You need to take toiletries and medications. Bring weather-appropriate clothes. Microwave, plate, cup, bowl, mug and silverware are needed. You will need two sets of sheets, pillows and a comforter. Check with your college about furniture and lighting/lamps. Bring your computer, printer, any helpful books and other school supplies. Bring some favorite items from home for familiarity.

Going college for studying for some years needs so many things. other than common items, you should have bible, parents photo, first aid box with medicines mainly related to your allergic. Torch, knife to cut fruits, electric heater to cook mini items like egg, nail cutter, scissors, shaving box, sweater and pillow covers and bed sheets, tester, iron box, umbrella.

Pack your necessities. If your dorms contain furniture you shouldn't bring additional furniture. If they don't you may need to bring your main furniture like your bed, desk, and night table. bring your clothes, toiletries, a tv if you have one, and your blankets. It mainly depends on how much the dorm rooms offer at your lodging.

Take only the important things that you use on a daily basis. Some colleges put up to 4 people in a room.
