Take control of the sale when you are at the desk and always negotiate, if he wants to eat dinner at the end of the month he will make a deal. Don't take the first offer they throw at you and if your trading in your car, get your keys back as soon as they are done looking at it.

they are always trying to sell it for as much as they can so if they say 20,000 for the car bring it down to like 15,000 so you have some room to play with. i would make him think he doesn't know what he is talking about so you could out smart him and get a better deal

The best thing to do is be ready at any time to walk away from a car. They are typically based on a commission so if they don't treat you right walk away. Chances are they'll contact you and try to give you a better price to come back.
