One of the most common uses for an 8.4V battery is for use in remote control leisure devices, such as a remote controlled aircraft of vehicle. If it is small and light it will most probably be for the aircraft.

We use 8.4 volt batteries is in cordless micphone. The shape of battery is also required to mention the correct place.
