What steps do I need to take to add another printer to the network?

It's a brand new printer; I have the drivers.

Follow the below steps: - Click on Start and then go to Control Panel - Click on Printer and Other Hardware - Click on Add Printer - Follow the wizard and choose Local printer attached to this computer - Select printer port - Install Printer software from Disk

First install the printer. Then, from your control panel, share your printer with the network that you want. Then make sure all other computers on the network can use it.

First of all you have to know the ip adress of the new printer. Normally you can read in the manual about that. You have to be sure in your network, that this ip adress is unique. The subnet mask has to be the same on every machine. Now you have to install the drivers on every machine.

connect your new printer into the network computer.Then Check all the cables are correctly connected to your computer.Then turn on the computer. Check whether your new printer has been detected,if not go to device manager then navigate to printers then right click on it and click update driver. select advanced choose CD ROM then put your disk and install drivers.
