Catfish shark are very active fish. If it is a baby when you get one a small aquarium will work, but the adults grow to approximately five inches long.

Recommended to use a very large tank. 100 gallons per one catfish shark. They are very active fish and require a large space to live a long time.

Catfish are large fish and they need quite a bit of swimming space inside the aquarium. They also need large amount of oxygen dissolved in the aquarium water. The minimum size thus required could be not less than 4 feet length, one and a half or two feet width. I must be ideal to have two or three feet depth.

You should have a large brackish aquarium for a catfish shark. They can grow to be up to 24 inches long. That's two feet! Most guidelines recommend 1-2 inches of fish per gallon, so do your calculations, remembering to include your other fish.
