What should I look for in potting benches?

Potting benches should be constructed of weather-resistant materials to prevent rotting. Make sure the bench will be large enough to meet your needs--if it can hold all your pots, soil, utensils, etc. Also, make sure the joints of the bench will be strong enough to endure the projects on which you plan to undertake.

If the potting bench is going to be used outside, get one that is not made of metal. Metal stands rust and then become weak.
