You should know which types of incense that you do not place near eachother, some smells may counteract one another. Also, you need to make sure you have the incense in a proper location while burning in order to prevent a fire and a safety hazard to your customers. Look at other shops to compare your prices.

You will need a business license and a permit to operate at wherever you will open it. You may need a taxpayer ID and sales tax permit in your jurisdiction.

I would take a look at the area the shop will be in and honestly determine whether the area can support such a business. Other products might be a good idea, in order to make any money.
