You should always arrive on time. Also, unless the bride specifically says so, it is never okay for anyone besides the bride to wear white.

When you get a wedding invite send out the R. S. V. P. before the suggested date even if you're not attending. If you R. S. V. P a yes response and for some reason you cannot attend contact the bride or groom as soon as you're aware so they can make adjustments.

With regard to wedding etiquette, I would make sure you arrive a few minutes early to the wedding so you don't interrupt. Also if you are with the groom sit on his side and if you are with the bride sit on her side. Also don't wear white.
