If you have no experience, the best thing to do is to work in a restaurant or cafe to learn what is really involved and if it is still something that you want to pursue. Owning your own cafe will require a large upfront investment in real estate and inventory.
I think you should know that it is a lot harder than it seems. From a customer's perspective, it might look like fun, but on the business side, there is a lot to be done. I dont want to discourage you, but work at a cafe first.
First and foremost, this is a business, not a hobby. You'll need plenty of startup money -- to buy a location or pay ahead on a lease, money for equipment, money for licenses, etc. And you should consult an accountant first.
To start a cafe, the first thing yo must know is what good food tastes like. Unless you are fond of eating and a to sample different types of food and discern what is good and what is stale or bad, you will not know what to make your your customers.
