The roof is made of a water resistant canvas. You want to make sure your material will also repell water.

It can be simple if you know what you are doing. You would need either fiberglass or a really sturdy plastic and if it is plastic you can use a plastic weld kit to melt everything together. You can make it look professional if you do it the right way.

You will need to know: 1) Type of material used in the construction: a) Aluminum b) Plastic c) Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) laminated to wood. FRP material tradename FILON textured.
