The problem with keeping seahorses is that they are plankton feeders. They live off the microscopic plants in the ocean. You're tank probably doesn't have enough biomass to keep them alive (plankton doesn't make aquariums look nice).

Seahorses are extremely difficult to take care of. I would certainly research them before I purchased one. They are totally different from other fish.

Seahorse need salt water aquarium were in flow rate of the aquaruim should be faster. They require lower temperature they mainly eat shrimp. They are very expensive to keep.
