The Ace hardware store (and I am sure other hardware stores) have wax sticks kit that match furniture stain. I have also seen these at General Dollar Stores.

More than likely the piece of furniture will have to be stripped and resealed as nail polish remover tends to take off any kind of paint. If it's a small space, you might be able to find paint to match at a local hardware store.
