Leopard prints have a wonderful funky and yet earthy appeal, and coordinate well with other natural colors and decor elements. Consider using coordinating design elements that include other animal prints and colors found in your leopard print such as black, brown, tan and off-white.

If you're decorating with leopard keep it very simple. Have only one or two pieces accented with the leopard print and neutral, similar color shades for everything else in the room. Sometimes you can pull off only browns and black with leopard but it also looks good with red and yellow.

This is a time when less is more. Do not try and use it on everything - limit it to a piece of furniture or several accessories. Pick rich wall colors that compliment the print - pale walls and carpets will make the leopard look like an afterthought.

Decorating with a pattern can sometimes be tricky. Spread your design through out the room to help it flow smoothly to the eye. Make sure that regardless of what pattern you are working with that it defines you personally. Remember, sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.
