Be sure to have plenty of drainage or every time it rains and snows you will see damage to your brick pavers due to water.

Brick pavers should be put in with sand, this will let the water seep into the ground or run away from the house.

so long as you prep the base properly and lay the pavers on grit sand there should be no problem if you use silca sand in the joints then any water will run off if you cement the joints the pavers could hold water and cause them to become slippy with algy
