Stock certificates are obsolete, but they are still valid. You can retain the physical certificates, or go to a brokerage to exchange them for modern shares.
yes ... you should put them in safe ... to not loose them or other things ...the stock certificates are ... well i think.... important ..so you don't have to lose them
