What should I do with a kitten who dies just after birth?

You should definitely bury it somewhere where it is allowed. Or another option is to drop it off in the designated area at a local pound. Often that is the easiest to do as it is anonymous and they dispose of the bodies in a humane way.

Sadly, some kittens are stillborn. Take it to your veterinarian or local shelter for proper disposal if you live in the city and/or want to ask about the cause of death. In the country, bury it in a safe place (no powerlines) where it will lie undisturbed. Our sympathies!

Bury it. The mother cat will miss it, but like people, she'll move on and eventually have more. There is no reason for keeping it. Sorry for the loss, hate to see kittens die.

Bury it. You could even just throw the body in the trash and let it be picked up with the rest of the curb trash if you want but that seems a bit cruel. Obviously it was too sick to survive.
