There is nothing you really need to do to prepare for a diagnostic ultrasound. It's a noninvasive test that requires no sort of bloodwork or invasive procedures. The only thing to do is give a detailed history of sexual activity to the OBGYN beforehand.

To prep for the mammogram, you should not apply creams or lotions to you breasts or underarms the day of the exam. The untrasound requires no preparation.

Maybe meditate before the procedure to calm any nerves you may have. Generally, listen to what your mind and body are telling you and be kind to yourself.

You don't need to do anything beforehand to prepare, unless otherwise instructed by your doctor. The test will involve an x-ray of the breast (which can be somewhat uncomfortable), and then an ultrasound examination with a portable probe (which should not produce discomfort).

It is best not to wear deodorant or powders in the area as they can distort the test results, other than that there is nothing that you need to prepare.

This type of test is non-invasive, so therefore the patient has very little to do for preparation. The normal course of preparation would be a good bath or shower of the breast and proper clothing that would be easy in removal
