What should I do if there is water in the fuse box of my Mercedes?

You should never have water in somewhere that has electrical parts like the fuse panel. Look for a leak and seal it before fuses start blowing.

Thing's you can do. Taking out the fuse box & towel dry. Call local junk yards for a used boxes. Searching on ebay & similar sites. Last the dealership.

You should check the fuses to make sure none of them got damaged by taking them out and inspecting the fuses insuring there are no breaks in the coil.

Well that is very dangerous and you should first let it dry out and then determine why there is water in there. Then fix the problem.

First open the cover take all the fuse inside and put it on a dry cloth. check for busted fuse and replace it... your done.

Interior fuse box or the one under the hood? Use a hair dryer and rag to evaporate the water and check for corrosion. You can use WD40 for protection.

dump rubbing alchol in the fuse box, alchol will evaporate the water out from the fuses. Also find where leak is coming from and seal the box with caulking.

If no money want to be spent, a normal hair dryer would suffice in drying out the fuse box. Only a couple of fuses should then be replaced.

The best thing to do is try to dry it out and if you can't you can go to the dealership and get a new fuse box and install it. It is easy for a do it yourself job.
