My hamster is bleeding.

Well, the poor thing may have some internal injury or something much serious. Try to soak up the blood with a cloth and see if there is an injury on the outside part of the rectum. If you truly love your pet take it to the vet immediately! If this were you wouldn't you be in the emergency room already?

Take him to the vet. Bleeding from the rectum in a rodent is usually a cause of concer, most commonly it is caused from internal injuries most likely your hampster is not in for a happy road if you cannot get him medical attention. He can also be dehydrated because that can also cause bleeding

When a hamster bleeds from his rectum it can be one sign of "Wet Tail," a common hamster disease that is caused by stress, environmental change, overcrowded cages, poor diet, or trauma. Separate the hamster from other animals, remove all food and keep the it well hydrated. Finally, contact your veterinarian and have antibiotics prescribed.
