If your boyfriend is stupid and mean to you than you need to talk to him and let him know how you feel.

Most likely, you need to break up with him and search for someone better. Stupidity and, most especially, being mean, are not something you should tolerate. If he has some other quality that makes these traits somewhat tolerable, you can try to persuade him to seek education (to address his ignorance) and counseling (to address his cruelty).

You should get a new boyfriend. If a boyfriend is stupid, there will probably not be much improvement as he gets older. Maturity comes with age. Stupidity is forever. But if your boyfriend is mean now, he will only get meaner the longer you stay with him. He may even grow to be abusive which you do not need.

You have to be strong and realize he's not going to change. Since you are asking the question, I assmue you aren't happy with his behavior. You need to end the relationship. As much as it hurts, you will be happier in the long run.
