I would call a locksmith and see what they can do as far as making you a key. That is probably the best idea that I can come up with.

Write to the manufacturer. Give him the serial number or model number. Or if there is a clock repair store in your area, call them and tell them of your situation.

If you lose the key for your mantle clock, contact the manufacturer for a replacement, or contact a reputable locksmith who might be able to make a duplicate key.

Check with the maker of the clock. Information should be on the back or the bottom of the clock. You will need the model number.

If you have lost the key to your mantle clock then you should try and look for the key. If you cannot find it then you should start looking for the spare mantle clock key. If it is an emergency then call the lock smith, although they are a bit costly.

A few things come to mind. You could find a clock repair shop and see if they have a suggestion. Another possibility is to search ebay for a new key.

A locksmith can re-key any lock, including a lock on a mantle clock. If you can take the clock to them it would be better, but they will make housecalls.

The only way to fix that is to go back where you bought the clock and ask them if they have the master key so can have another one made or conatact the manufacturer.

Contact a clock repairman. If the clock is small enough, you can bring it to their shop. They should be able to make you a new key.

You can actually get repairs done for mantle clock keys. Google the nearest repair shop near you and ask them to make you a key if you are in need of it.

While you may be able to wind the clock with a suitabily sized wrench, it would certainly be highly recommended to get a replacement key. A local clockmaker should be able to provide a replacement key. Attempting to wind the clock with an improper tool could damage the winding stems.
