Ideally, bring it into range slowly using appropriate additives. Then regularly use an additive that keeps it neutral all the time.

In order to remedy high PH in your freshwater tank you should either purchase a product called "PH down" and/or do a partial water change in your tank.

You can do two things. 1: choose fish that thrive in high PH. 2: purchase a product from your aquarium store that adjusts the PH of your water.
