What should I do about my son who will not stop stealing?

You have many options, depending on his age, you can take him to a local store and have him talk with the head of security of the store explaining to him what happens when he steals. A second option would be to take him to the police department and have him talk with inmates as well as guards.

You don't state the age of your son, but if he is a teenager I would let him face the consequences of his actions. If you let this behavior go, it will only expand to bigger crimes.
