Unfortunately he is old enough to do what he wants,but you can talk to him and tell him the consequences of doing something illegal.Jail may be in future.

Do what you feel is best. It depends on your views on smoking marijuana, and on how it affects your son. If he's involved in other illegal activities because of it, do something about it. If it's just smoking every once in a while, maybe it's okay.
If he is ever positive for either of those drugs above...I'll see him dead first, by my own hands! And yes, I've told him this (just now, as a matter of fact). He states he can pass my drug test...we'll see tomorrow morning...

Make him pee in a different cup. My son put warm water in the drug test untill it tested negative and then pore it out and then peed in it. So we thought it was negative.. the legnths they will go to.. add a comment
...I suppose I should have mentioned that I just found out my 19-year-old son had smoked maryjo twice now (he confessed when I asked) and I don't like the thought of it at all - even if he does only do it a couple times here and there...
...he's always been an honor roll student and he's currently prepharm (pharmacist) - I CAN stop him from smoking (I have my ways), but someone please tell me HONESTLY if I should just let it go - my husband and I do not have addictive personalities and neither does...
